Chianti Riserva “Cinquecento” has ruby red wine features and a gentle fruity aroma. Structured and harmonious, it is served at room temperature with beef, lamb, game, roasts, tasty cured meats, or aged cheeses.
This Chianti Riserva is developed in tanks until the completion of alcoholic fermentation, with frequent pumping over, punching down, and delestage, at a controlled temperature.
AGING: 6-9 months in oak barrels and at least 6 months in bottle.
Alcohol: 13.5 % vol.
Color: Intense ruby red.
Area of Production: Tuscany, near the town of Vinci.
Grapes: Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon Blend, Vineyard age of 25-30 years.
Serving Temperature: To be served at 16-18°C.
Preservation: Can be aged for 2-3 years. Store in a fresh, dry and dark place.
Pairing Suggestions: Perfect with first courses, meat, cheese and grilled fish.
